Hey! Someone being
mean to you online?

It happens to lots of kids, and it's never your fault. Here are 5 simple steps to help you feel safe.

Step 1

Stop! Don't reply

If someone is being mean, just close the app. Take a deep breath. You don't have to answer them. It's not your fault.

Step 2

Save the proof

Ask a grown-up to help you take a screenshot. Keep the messages somewhere safe. This helps if you need to show someone later.

Step 3

Block them

Use the block button. You don't have to talk to people who are mean. Blocking keeps them away from you.

Step 4

Tell someone you trust

Tell mom, dad, your teacher, or another grown-up you feel safe with. You are not bothering them. They want to help you.

Step 5

You're not alone

This is not your fault. You deserve to feel safe and happy. It's brave to ask for help. We are all here for you.

Remember:

You are awesome. You are brave. And you never have to handle this alone.
